Does TuffSkin completely prevent etching and stains?
Yes. TuffSkin creates a fully sealed, non-porous barrier that completely blocks acids, liquids, and contaminants. This means no etching from lemon, wine, or cleaning products — and no permanent stains on natural stone.
Is TuffSkin visible or does it change the appearance of the stone?
No. TuffSkin is optically clear and designed to be virtually invisible. It is available in Gloss (for polished stone) and Satin (for matte finishes), ensuring the natural look of the stone is preserved.
Can TuffSkin peel, lift, or come off over time?
No. TuffSkin is engineered with a professional-grade adhesive that keeps it securely in place. It does not peel or lift on its own and can only be removed intentionally by a trained technician.
How durable is TuffSkin in daily use?
TuffSkin is designed for intensive use. It is scratch-resistant, heat-resistant up to 200 °C, and UV-stable. If the surface is ever damaged, the film can be replaced while the stone underneath remains fully protected.
